Lethal Trans Fats - You're likely consuming them!

If you’re eating out, you’re likely ingesting lethal trans fats.

The food industry uses the cheapest ingredients in food to sell their goods at an affordable price to the consumer. This cost cutting results in the most hideous of ingredients and processes to deliver the cheapest possible product.   In the meantime, as we keep eating these adulterated so-called foods, they are waging war on the body at a molecular level speeding the disease process and thrusting the consumer into the expensive and irresponsible health care system. Most people think the FDA will protect them from these harmful practices but nothing could be farther from the truth. 

Currently the FDA is doing more to protect the manufacturers. It can be pretty tricky for consumers to navigate the treacherous waters of food choices. Trans fats are just the tip of the ice berg. 

Did you know that the FDA allows over 14,000 chemical food additives in our food supply and nobody is testing the interactions of these chemicals inside your body? Not the people making them, selling them, and not even the people who are regulating them. Poly-sorbate 60, BHT, BGH, brominated vegetable oil artificial flavours, carrageenan, yellow #5, Red #40, mono-diglycerides, sodium benzoate, potassium bromate, neotame, saccharin, aspartame, corn syrup, soy lecithin, and thousands of others! If consumers stop purchasing unhealthy foods and demand healthy food, changes will result and they will appear on the market. Make wise, informed choices and ALWAYS read ingredient labels! As Marco has often said, if you can’t read it and pronounce it, you should likely not be eating it!
